After the Transition . . .
The transition is expected to be completed by Saturday evening, August 1, 2009, by midnight. At that time, you will access email through the Zimbra environment.
1. Use a web browser for your first access to Zimbra email NOT Thunderbird or some other client. Sign in with your Marietta username and password at http://mail.marietta.edu (Note: this link will NOT be functional until after August 1)
The mail.marietta.edu login page will be updated when the migration to Zimbra has been completed.
2. Check your email folders and their contents.
Try to verify that all of your email were copied correctly.
3. Empty your Trash folder.
This ensures that the number of messages in a folder is displayed correctly. Open the Trash folder and move any messages you want to keep to another folder. Right-click on the Trash folder, then click "Empty Trash" on the context menu.
4. Note how easy it is to access folders in Zimbra. They are viewable from the INBOX screen on the left-hand side.
