Text Box: Text Box: Text Box: Current tax laws provide significant opportunities for retirement savers. Voluntary contribution limits are listed in the table below:

If an employee has at least 15 years of service with a qualifying employer, the employee may be eligible to make an even higher contribution.

In addition to the contribution limits, employees age 50 and older by the end of the tax year can make "catch-up contributions" . You are eligible to make catch-up contributions
if:
• You will have reached age 50 by the end of the year, and
• The maximum amount of elective deferrals that can be made to your 403(b) account have been made for the plan year.
The maximum amount of catch-up contributions is the lesser of ($5,000 for 2006), or
• Your includible compensation minus your other elective deferrals for the year.

1The 403(b) contribution limits will be returned to the 2001 level on January 1, 2011 unless Congress extends the increased limits beyond that date.
