The Worthington Center for Teaching Excellence is conducting a two-day Course (Re)Design Institute from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 8th and Tuesday, January 9th, in the Worthington Center. The Institute will help faculty work on putting the finishing touches on the design of one (or more!) of spring courses. The Institute is intended as a highly interactive experience where you will:
- Fine tune the syllabus
- Develop a topic timeline using a backward design approach
- Finalize your course calendar
- Review major assignment directions and grading criteria
- Identify possible uses of instructional technology to enhance your teaching, including Moodle, TurnitIn, and more.
If you are interested in participating, please email Tanya Judd Pucella at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than January 5th.
