Michael Hripko was appointed Youngstown State University’s Associate Vice President for Research in June, 2015. Additionally, he leads the YSU Regional Economic Development Initiative (REDI), in seeking to improve the economic well-being and stability throughout the Mahoning Valley. Hripko previously worked at America Makes as Deputy Director of Workforce and Educational Outreach and enjoyed a 31 year career with Delphi Packard Electric Systems, in Warren, Ohio, from which he retired as Manager of Product Management and Pricing in 2008. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Dayton, an M.S. in Industrial Engineering (Operations Research) from the University of Iowa, and an M.B.A. from Kent State University.
