Do you enjoy offering your ideas and opinions to others as they seek to solve a problem? If so, don't miss the first PioPitch session of the semester from 4:00-5:00 p.m., Thursday, September 22nd, in Thomas 124. PioPitch is essentially a large focus group in which individuals present a challenge facing them or their organization and ask for feedback from a large audience of Marietta College students and faculty, as well as local business leaders and members of the Marietta College at large.

September presenters include Jennifer Simon, Executive Director of the Regional Innovation Network, and Alice Ely Chapman, Founder of the Ely Chapman Education Foundation. Jennifer will ask PioPitch attendees whether they believe that entrepreneurs and others in the Mid-Ohio Valley would use a local makerspace and take advantage of assistance in developing new businesses. Alice will ask the group for ideas on how to better engage and inspire eighth graders in learning opportunities. Please come share your ideas!!
