How has women's power regarding the vote shifted over the past 100 years? We will watch a short 12-minute video on the history of the Suffragette movement to see how women struggled to the get the vote. Then Dr. Dawn Carusi and Dr. Suzanne Walker will lead discussion on how gender still is in play in 2016 when a woman is a major party candidate. We will explore questions of power, legitimacy, and the impact of the new information age.

Join the conversation and enjoy free pizza at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, October 6th, in the McDonough Gallery (3rd floor). Open to all interested students, faculty and staff.
