| Distinguished Diversity Enhancement Award
The Distinguished Diversity Enhancement Award, presented at the Spring Honors Convocation, recognizes the work of members of the College community for their contributions in the following areas:
- Enrichment of the educational experience by providing students and/or faculty and/or staff with the opportunity to learn from individuals who differ from them.
- Strengthening of the workplace and/or learning community by fostering mutual respect and teamwork.
- Promotion of personal growth by challenging stereotyped preconceptions and helping faculty and/or staff and/or students to learn to communicate effectively with people of varied backgrounds.
- Enhancement of the College climate for staff and/or students and/or faculty by helping to generate awareness and appreciation of our increasingly diverse cultures.
- Contribution to the recruitment and retention of a diverse cohort of staff and/or faculty and/or students.
