Gail Popp, ESL Instructor

Living and working abroad was a wonderful experience for me. I always wanted to travel and teaching English as a Foreign Language allowed me to do that.
My first experience was in Quito, Ecuador at the Commission Fulbright English School. After six months there, I went to Japan for two years and taught English for Aeon, a Japanese English Company.
There were many differences in the cultures, but the people were friendly and helpful. I would not exchange those experiences for anything. It has helped me so much in my career of teaching other international students at Marietta College.
