Vicki Brown serves as manager of the Marietta College mailroom and building supervisor for Gilman Student Center. She has served as mailroom manager for 21 years and is planning on continuing her mailroom career until retirement.

"I like meeting new people and the diversity of the job,' says Vicki. Before coming to Marietta College, Vicki worked in the business office doing accounts payable for Broughton Foods and as a secretary for Barengo Insurance. Earlier in her career, Vicki enjoyed working as a housewife and mother while her children were growing up.

In addition to her career, Vicki is active in Pinehurst Christian Church where she teaches Sunday school, leads junior church, and is a member of the woman's group.

Although a Marietta native, Vicki now resides in Williamstown, W.Va., where she enjoys spending time with her daughters Holly and Heather, and her grandchildren Christian, Tre, Isaiah, Karsyn, and Noah. Her favorite activity outside of work is to be involved with her grandchildren and attend their school and sporting events.

Verna has served as manager of package shipment and receiving at Marietta College for the last 10 years, and plans to continue her job until retirement.

Verna enjoys working with the students, faculty, and staff and enjoys having a daytime job with flexible hours. "I like hearing the joy in a student's voice when they receive a package," she says.

Before becoming manager of package shipment and receiving, Verna worked for two years in building services at Marietta College. Earlier in her career, Verna worked for 15 years as a cashier for Weddle Auction Services.

Verna is also a Marietta native, but she now resides in Lowell, Ohio, where she enjoys spending time with her children Thomas, Hannah, and Curtis, and her grandchildren Tyler Dylan and Tyson. Her interests outside of her job are gardening, and staying involved with her grandchildren.

Bridget Bova

Aly Endress

Bridget came to Marietta from Tonawanda, New York.  She is a sophomore majoring in Accounting with minors in Economics and Math.  Bridget most enjoys the mailroom's friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to work with people every day.

Aly came to Marietta from Lakewood, Ohio.  She is also a sophomore majoring in early childhood education.  Aly most enjoys the mailroom's flexible work hours.

Britt came to Marietta from Chester, Connecticut.  She is a junior majoring in political science and history.  Britt enjoys the social environment of the mailroom and getting to meet and talk to people every day.

Brittany came to Marietta from Alliance, Ohio.  She is a senior majoring in Spanish and International Business with minors in Latin American Studies and Accounting.  Brittany most enjoys the mailroom's laid-back work environment, and the friends she has made during her four years of work.
