What can a student expect when taking one of your classes?

A student may expect an atmosphere of fun learning that includes group and individual assignments and an excitement for learning more about music.

What excites you about teaching at Marietta College?

I love working with the students in the classroom and helping them one-on-one outside of the classroom. I get excited to share my love of music with students who may or may not be involved in music, or know much about the subject.

When you aren’t teaching, what other activities do you enjoy?

I love working on the farm and going for a run. However, I most enjoy spending time with family.

Do you prefer flipping through the pages of a book or an e-book?

I prefer going through an actual book.

What is your favorite location on campus and why?

I love sitting in the stands of the soccer field, because it gives me a moment to enjoy the sunshine and be away from the classroom for a change.

What is your favorite Marietta College event?

I love the Chuck Memorial 5K that is held every year during Homecoming.
