Research Interests: My teaching and research interests include environmental & engineering geology, soil & rock mechanics, hydrogeology, and geo-hazards.

What can a student expect when taking one of your classes?

Geoscience is multidisciplinary in nature. Understanding resources, environment and geo-hazards in the context of geologic processes.

What excites you about teaching at Marietta College?

MC, located in Appalachian region, has various geologic sites or resources and challenges nearby.

What is your favorite location on campus and why?

Prince Forum in Legacy Library; location of the room, its structure and setting inside. It’s like an overlook point.
