Hilles joined Marietta College in October 2007. She holds a B.A. in Cultural Area Studies from The College of Wooster and a M.A. in Counseling & Human Services from John Carroll University, where she began her career in college career counseling. She is a subscriber to the theory that "all people today must learn to manage their own careers and that understanding oneself is the first step in this process." When she's not assisting students with their career planning, Hilles can be found practicing yoga, reading detective fiction or spending time with her family.
