A native of Massachusetts, Arielle Jennings is the Director of Civic Engagement. Jennings received her master's degree in education from Harvard University and her undergraduate degree in psychology from the George Washington University. Jennings worked in the non-profit sector in both Washington, D.C., and Boston on issues related to hunger and homelessness before she started her career in civic engagement and service-learning.
Prior to coming to Marietta, Jennings worked at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, coordinating service and leadership initiatives in their Office of Community Service.
Her current research focuses on the developmental effects of student leadership initiatives in civic engagement programming. Jennings teaches courses within the action component in the McDonough Leadership Program.
