What can a student expect when taking one of your classes?
I will do my best to convince you that math is needed in all aspects of life. I also try to reinforce that mathematics is not something that should just be memorized.
What excites you about teaching at Marietta College?
I like that I can easily learn each student’s name quickly and that I get the chance to have a student in class more than once.
When you aren’t teaching, what other activities do you enjoy?
Spending time with my husband, Matt; my two daughters, Grace and Jada; and my dog, Koda.
Do you prefer flipping through the pages of a book or an e-book?
It depends on the book. I usually still read from an actual book but I am reading more e-books each year.
What is your favorite location on campus and why?
The Rickey Science Center because it is where I spend the majority of my time.
