Dr. Monek is the Division Coordinator of Arts & Humanities and Chair of the Edward E. MacTaggart Music Department at Marietta College where he also directs the college’s five choral ensembles.
Dr. Monek has taught music in Florida’s public schools and is in frequent demand as a clincian, adjudicator, and presenter. He has served in variety of leadership positions for musical organizations and is currently the President of the Ohio Association of Music Schools which represents the more than 40 college and university music departments, schools of music and conservatories in Ohio.
