Richard Martin joined the Office of Information Technology at Marietta College in August of 2012 as a programmer. He has worked in a variety of computing fields including higher education, web design, and game design. He has been fortunate to collaborate remotely with global teams for video game design and development, resulting in the publication of Alien and Monster Bowling League released on the Nintendo Wii in 2009, and released as Galactic Bowling on Steam and the iPhone.
Richard also has a variety of teaching experience: serving as a contract trainer, and currently, an adjunct professor for Washington State Community College in the Digital Technology department. He also has earned a Second Degree Black Belt in Shuri Ryu karate, and has enjoyed volunteering to teach karate and game programming to young adults.
Richard lives happily in Marietta with his wife and daughter.
