Stephen Lazowski is a seasoned professional who is responsible for identifying, attracting, yielding and ensuring the success of Marietta College’s undergraduate students. He has direct oversight of the offices of Admission and Student Financial Services.
Lazowski joined Marietta College in June of 2017.
Well known for his leadership skills, commitment to excellence, and impressive track record in the enrollment management field, Lazowski came to Marietta from Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania, where he served as Vice President for Enrollment Management.
Lazowski has nearly 15 years of experience in higher education, and before arriving at Marietta College he spent 17 months at Thiel. Prior to that he served as the Vice President for Enrollment Management at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. He also worked in a variety of admission roles at Georgia College and State University, as well as Baldwin Wallace University. He consistently exceeded enrollment and application goals at each of his previous institutions.
Lazowski has a Bachelor of Arts in liberal studies and history from Saint Xavier University in Chicago and a Master of Educational Technology from Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. He also earned a graduate certificate in Enrollment Management from the University of Southern California’s Center for Enrollment Research, Practice and Policy.
Lazowski’s wife, Elizabeth, and son, Andrew, are thrilled to be a part of Marietta College and the local community.
