  • 5 to 11 p.m. Monday to Thursday
  • 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday
  • 2 p.m. to 12 a.m. Saturday
  • 2 to 11 p.m. Sunday

(Limited hours during semester breaks.)

 

Friday Night Fever

Founded during the Fall 2006 by the Office of Student Activities and Greek Life, Friday Night Fever is held every Friday night from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. at The Gathering Place.

Often sponsored by campus organizations, this weekly program provides new activities, slushies, food and more FREE of charge to Marietta College students.

If you are interested in sponsoring a Friday Night Fever event, please download and fill out a registration form (PDF) or contact the student coordinators.

Gathering Place

 

Located on the corner of Seventh and Butler streets, The Gathering Place is a retreat for students to relax, hang out and have fun.

(The building previously housed an IGA grocery store but renovations by the college now provide a one-stop resource for student activities.)

Marietta College students enjoy:

  • Game room fun with darts, pool, foosball, ping pong and air hockey
  • Free snack bar complete with Pepsi products, popcorn and peanuts
  • Plenty of comfortable seating, including foamiture
  • An LCD projector to give you a big screen view for watching television, enjoying movies or playing video games
  • Wireless Internet access
  • An XBOX 360 Elite gaming system with video games such as Guitar Hero and Madden
  • A corner stage that provides a perfect venue for bands, comedians and student performances
