Residence Life: A Sense of Belonging

Community. Laughter. Growth. Cooperation. All of these things are part of residence life at Marietta, and all of them contribute much to your overall college experience.
You'll feel a sense of belonging as soon as you claim your room keys and decorate your walls. Let's face it, there's something about "close quarters" that easily translates to close friendships! Those friends may be your roommates, or other members of your residence hall, male or female, who serve as your first friends when you arrive on campus as a new student. It's a special bond that grows over time, even as you move out and move on.
Because we believe in the value of residence living, we require full-time students to live on campus (or in campus-related housing). But "require" is a loose term—once you discover all the great things about living in a community with your fellow students, we think you'll agree it's a really good arrangement.
