MC ACM Minutes --
January 16, 1999
Attendance: Don Barber, Donna Barr, David Bettinger, Jesse
Brown, Amber Chappars, Ryan Coleman, Rudy Denius, Ryan Longfellow, Dr.
David Mader
Disks were sold in Dr. Peascoe's 105 classes; however, Denius still needs
to go to Dr. Anderson's class. Johan Stodberg will make a sign about the
disks, which are in Mader's office. It was decided that there is little
demand for CD's.
The certification committee will have a meeting on Tuesday at 7 PM for
anyone instered in the A+ certification. Stodberg, Bettinger, and Denius
all have books; Longfellow plans to buy a copy.
The meetings need to be better advertised. Some suggestions include making
signs, sending out E-mail to mc-student, or putting information on the
college webpage.
Another suggestion was that the ACM make T-shirts. Environmental science
has polo shirts for $16; we could do something similar. The shirts would
be offered to alumni, faculty, and employees, as well as students. They
could be sold for $2 profit, and the ACM could have them at cost.
Denius suggested that we discuss the by-laws at the next meeting.
The next meeting will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2000.
***This meeting was cancelled and rescheduled for
February 20, 2000.***
