Two Marietta College students, Jeff Cordell and Devin Cogswell, founded the Arts & Humanities House in the spring of 1997. Both the A&H House and Council were formed to provide an atmosphere supportive of creative and artistic endeavors of students and faculty. The A&H Council offers a variety of programming and social opportunities for the entire campus related to the arts and humanities. A&H Coffeehouses provide both unique entertainment and diverse social experiences, allowing all of the student body to enjoy the arts while having a good time. The main goal of Café AHhh is to provide safe and dry social functions for the entire campus community where students are encouraged to share their talents without fear of judgment.
