| On February 17, 2000, Dr. Yeon Jae Bae of Seoul Women's College visited Marietta College. He brought with him an agreement of understanding between the two schools. This agreement is intended to foster academic and cultural exchanges between students and faculty at the two schools. Dave McShaffrey and Jae were both graduate students in Dr. Pat McCafferty's lab at Purdue University. In the spring of 2000, they initiated the first exchange under this agreement, a cooperative stream study carried out by students in their respective classes. |
