4. Methods:

We investigated ka-pyung chun , Korean creek.

This study has been launched in order to investigate environmental assessment on the biotic communities and physiochemical factors in the kapyung creek.

The purpose of this study is to clarity the water quality and the provide

the basic physicochemical data. We investigated latitude, gradient and surronding situations.

5.Results:

Mt. Myungji that is located in deep ka-pyung creek is high peak of the second after Mt.ha-ak and covered with unknown. Ka-pyung creek is a tributary to Buk-Han gang.

This degrees of latitude is 37 ` 55 ``~ 37` 57``. The gradient of ka-pyung is 127 28 ` 30``~ 127 30` 00``.

The kapyung creek lies in the Monson region of the eastern Asia, with hot summer and cool to cold winters, which receives more than 60% of rainfalls in summer (from June to September). This region belongs to the inclination which is more cold in winter and is more cool in summer rather than other regions located in the same latitude.

The average temperature of year is 10.5.

The average temperature of January is –6.6, the one of August is 25.3.

Kapyung watercourse, the main stream of the towm of Kapyung is originated in Chukmok li, Buk myon, Kyunggi Province, and is met with the North Han River in town of Kapyung.

This section affected human effect. Namely, Ka-pyung is surrounded with houses, parking lot and construction of bridge.
