Marietta College - Seoul Women's University

Cooperative Stream Study

In the spring of 2000, students from Seoul Women's University in Seoul, Korea, joined with students at Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio.  The purpose of the collaboration was to investigate and compare two streams, Kapyong Creek and Baker Run.  Student teams in both locations took samples of the benthic organisms, analyzed the physical characteristics of the streams, and took some chemical samples.  With this data in hand, students at both schools were able to compare the two streams.  Click here for more about the agreement between Marietta College and Seoul Women's University
