Alumni Information

The Marietta College Department of Chemistry takes special pride in the accomplishements of our graduates. One of the stated goals of the chemistry program is that at least 60% of our graduates attend graduate or professional schools, including many of the top schools in the country (The actual percentage of students meeting this goal from 1998-2003 is 65%). The remainder of our graduates find work in chemical industry, secondary education, or other areas of interest. A summary of graduate career pathways for the last six years (1998-2003) is given below:

Graduates who have chosen not to attend graduate/professional school have begun careers at Dupont, Kemron Environmental Services, Sherwin Williams, Case Western Reserve University, and the University of Houston.
