Chi Omega Nationally
Chi Omega was founded at the University of Arkansas on April 5, 1895, and nationally, we celebrate 112 years as a fraternity. Chi Omega is the largest women's fraternity in the world with over 240,000 active sisters in over 170 chapters across the country. In addition to the collegiate chapters, Chi Omega has more than 230 alumnae chapters spread throughout the US.

The Eleusis, first published in 1899, is our national magazine. It goes out to members and alumnae throughout the country.
Chi Omega Locally--Chi Gamma
Originally a local sorority called Alpha Nu Sigma, the Chi Gamma chapter of Chi Omega was chartered on December 29, 1923. We are currently the oldest of the sororities on campus, though not the oldest of all the Greek houses.
The chapter house, located at 300 Fifth Street, currently houses 17 girls and has undergone many changes since the chapter was chartered.
The Chi Gamma chapter currently has 40 members, 26 actives and 14 new members. With a chapter total of 55, we are always striving to reach that number.
