Home

After the didactic year of instruction, the Marietta College Physician Assistant Program requires students to complete 15 months of clinical rotations. These rotations allow the students to gain valuable clinical experience under the direct supervision of physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners who volunteer their time and energy to educate future health care providers.

Required Clinical Rotations

• Family Medicine I - 10 weeks
• Internal Medicine - 5 weeks
• Emergency Medicine - 5 weeks
• General Surgery - 5 weeks
• Prenatal/GYN - 5 weeks
• Pediatrics - 5 weeks
• Psychiatry - 5 weeks
• Orthopedics - 5 weeks
• Electives - 6 weeks
• Family Medicine II - 5 weeks
