The Marietta College Forensics Team has won the 3rd place in Ohio Forensic Sweepstakes. This week Marietta College was notified that the students had received enough points through competition to win third place in Sweepstakes. The announcement was made by the Ohio Forensics Association. The only schools ahead of Marietta College in points were two large schools, University of Akron and Miami University.“We are ecstatic about this new honor, especially since all of the points came from our novices,” stated Dr. Mabry O’Donnell, coach of the team. “We are already planning for next year, and extend an invitation to all interested students to enjoy our wonderful, wacky, world of forensics.” (See Photos)
