Communication Programs

The Communication and Media Studies Department is committed to promoting knowledge, criticism and practical application of human and media communication.

The department strives to improve students'communication skills and their critical and analytic abilities concerning both the process and consequences of human and media communication. We provide a stimulating and professionally oriented learning environment based upon collaborative learning and practical application.

Students are provided with opportunities to excel in various areas of communication, including:

• Undergraduate majors in Organizational Communication/Public Relations and Communication Studies.

• Undergraduate minors in Applied Communication, Communication Studies and Organizational Communication/Public Relations.
