Joan Stewart is a retired RN. Her  work has been published in earlier issues of Confluence, in West Virginia Word, Gambit and Blood Moon Rising.  Above all else, she believe stories should entertain.  "If a story does not give me something,  it's a waste of my time.  Stories must make me laugh, cry, think deep thoughts or follow twisted trails."
