Camp Friendship
The proceeds from this event will benefit Camp Friendship. Thanks to American Cancer Society donors, summer fun is provided for youths who are being treated for cancer or are in remission. Children, aged 7 through 21, who receive treatment in Ohio choose one of three residential camps for fun and challenges. The purpose of the camps is to provide campers the opportunity to do "kid" things in a safe environment with others who have experienced hair loss, chemotherapy, radiation, and all the poking and prodding that goes with the detection and treatment of cancer. For more information on Camp Friendship, visit the American Cancer Society's Web Page.
