I enjoyed the experiment we did in class. I think it was beneficial to see for ourselves how trading can increase the production of both sides in the trade.

Well, at least one person thinks that I accomplished my objective of making economics fun and insightful.

I felt that Exam 1, when compared with the sample exams was somewhat harder and a lot harder than the problems that we do in class (clickers). I feel that we should go over some more challenging questions and problems in class to better prepare us for the exams.

I think that during the actual test there is additional pressure and anxiety that makes it seem like the exam is more difficult than the practice exams.  When you take the practice exam, be sure to mimic exam day conditions (time limit and no book/notes) in order to create the same sort of pressure and anxiety that you'll experience on exam day.  Regarding the clicker questions, I think you're right: the questions were too easy.  I will try to increase the level of difficulty on such questions from now on.

I think you have an effective way of teaching. I came into this class dreading it, because I did not think I had an interest in the material. But, your presentation of the material is so organized and purposeful it is difficult to not finding your class...relieving. Good Job!

Hmmmm...I'm not sure my class has ever been described as "relieving."  After all, I've been known to scream my head off in class from time to time (if only to wake a few people up).

I would like to see more instruction on the lab reports I am finding them confusing.

You are always welcome to ask questions in class (or through email) or make an appointment to stop by my office.  I will, however, talk some more about the lab report in class prior to its due date.

I think this material (Editor's Note: Elasticity) is more challenging than previous material. Is their (sic) anyway we can incorporate more problems in class, like we did today, in order to practice the material better?

Yes, the material is more challenging and yes, I plan to incorporate more in-class exercises to reinforce the concepts that are being learned.
