6, 2005 MC women’s soccer still undefeated! BY JASON
HAISLIP The team has scored over 30 goals and has allowed only five in their 10 games. Leading the offense is midfielder Amy Lehosit and forward Jessica Martinez, both with five goals each. Other leading scorers are forward Allison Williams with four goals and midfielder Jill Sorboro with two. The woman have fired a total of 185 shots On defense senior goal keeper Bethany Blahnik leads the team, and has set a career record number of shutouts. Blahnik rarely lets opponents score, and thanks to the girls in front of her, the MC Lady Pioneers haven’t lost yet. This is a great year, especially for seniors: Bethany Blahnik, Kristin Drain, Emilee Knowlton and Amy Lehosit. Head Coach Patrick Holguin also couldn’t be happier. |
