MARIETTANA

Each year, the Mariettana brings Marietta College to life in pictures and prose. The yearbook memorializes each campus year and chronicles the varied aspects of college life. It connects the Long Blue Line of alumni with present-day students, and is part of the history and charm of this campus.

The Mariettana is produced annually by the students and faculty of the Mass Media Department. Under the tutelage of staff and adjunct faculty, the students work a full year to produce a pictorial record of Marietta College. In doing so, students learn both writing and graphic skills. They have experience in advertising, graphic design, layout, photography and writing. The Mariettana is an integral part of the Mass Media Department and provides an additional training device for its students.
