Dave St. Peter

Station Manager/Engineer


Before joining the Mass Media staff Dave was the News/Sports/Program Director at WATK/WACD in Antigo, WI from 1998-2004. At the station his duties included determining all on-air programming, news gathering and anchoring, sports play-by-play, live daily on-air shift, production of material for on-air play, scheduling part-time employee shifts.

Prior to the job at WTAK/WACD he was a staff writer for Don CeSar Beach Resort and Spa in St. Pete Beach, FL from 1996-1998. While there he wrote feature articles for Interstate Hotels Corporation’s employee- and management-level newsletters. Served on corporation’s National Communications Review Board, a panel that examined ways to improve internal communications. Staff painter at the Don from 1992-1998.

He was a staff announcer at WRRR/WVVW in St. Marys, WV from 1984-1989. Live on-air shifts during all dayparts. Production ranging from 30-second spots and PSAs to hour-length feature programming.

From 1982-198 he was an Account Executive for Phase One Productions in Marietta.. Selling advertising space in various print and electronic ventures, including the Ohio State University men’s basketball game programs, and the Jesse Owens Track Classic Program.

Dave received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Ohio State University in June 1982 and his Master of Arts in Mass Communications from University of South Florida (Tampa) in May 1997.He and his wife Darlene have two children (Christopher, Ashley) and live in Marietta.
