A Frosh Perspective
By Joe McKeever '00
As the first semester finished, I would have to say Marietta College was the best decision for me. I am very happy with the crew. We had a successful fall season, which should be a prelude to a successful spring season. The other members of the team are always there for a helping hand. We all help each other in times of need. whatever you need to talk about , crew or academics, the team members are there for you. This has made Marietta College a positive experience for me. The student-athlete is what makes Marietta a unique college. Coach Bancheri explained to us when we came here the importance of the student-athlete. As for our winter training program, I would have to say it is building a solid foundation for a successful spring season. The work ethic is evident with our intense training. The road to the dad Vail medals dock starts now! We must be committed towards putting in the work necessary to achieve this goal. I think our team is capable of winning the Dad Vail Championship. I am looking forward to representing Marietta College in the spring.
