- Full text of numerous hymnals in several formats, including Adobe
Acrobat PDF, Microsoft Word, Palm eBook (pdb), Plain text (UTF-8),
Theological Markup Language (XML), and html. Some formats require the

- Texts of "over 6,300 Christian hymns and Gospel songs from many
denominations." Hymns can be located by title, author or composer, and a
few subject terms. Also includes some background information on hymn
texts, hymn tunes, and hymn writers. Some hymns have a link to a MIDI
version of the hymn.

- Another project of the Christian Classics Ethereal Library and

Institute of Christian Worship,
"the Hymnary is a new kind of hymn website. It combines the best
features of popular sites like the Cyber Hymnal and academic projects like
The Hymn Tune Index and rolls them all into one robust database."
It "currently contains 42 hymnals, index entries on 12,235 texts
(6,374 with full text) and 11,541 tunes, biographical information from
sources such as the Psalter Hymnal Handbook and Julian's Dictionary of
Hymnology, full scores of many public domain hymns, and 8,596 media
files."
