Lewisburg, West Virginia

June, 2002

The DSA navy at Williamstown, WV.  Patty Morrison of the USFWS and her crew met us and took us out to the islands.  Above, Marietta Ohio, site of the 2004 meeting???  is in the background across the Ohio River.
Above:  Sid, Barb and Jerrell in a composite photo.  Left - two of the boats on the way back from Boaz, West Virginia. Photos by McShaffrey.
Left, Gomphus vastus caught by Jen Wykle.
At the Boaz wetland we depended on the token Floridian for help in dealing with some of the local fauna.  Good thing we had Jerrell along.
The final Final Five at Point Pleasant.  Photo by Mothman.
Finally, a few words about the organizer of our meeting:  Jennifer Wykle did a great job organizing the meeting.  I (McShaffrey) had the pleasure of teaching Jennifer in Ecology and Vertebrate Zoology when she was an undergraduate (She did not take Invertebrate Zoology, and THAT has come back to haunt her (as has Mothman, pictured below)).

Pictured:  Mothman

Jennifer was always studious, as one can tell from the photo at the left.  Here, on a field trip, she is studying for a calculus exam.
