Dave and Brenda Rickey to Donate $2.7 Million to Build a Planetarium and add an Astronomer at Marietta College
November 2007 - The Anderson Hancock Planetarium,
named to honor two of our emeritus physics faculty members,
will open in 2009. The project will enable the college to add astronomy curriculum and research offerings. The project includes
a challenge to raise at least $1.5 million in endowment.
