The Marietta College Bookstore is a full-service campus shopping center. We provide all course materials for the entire campus as well as office and dorm supplies, computer products, Marietta College insignia clothing and gifts, art supplies and general reading books.
The Marietta College Bookstore has leapt into the technological age with both feet. We are a partner in the efollett.com network where customers have access to the largest network of used books available to the college market. www.efollett.com is a great shopping destination for textbooks and secure and simple ordering. Also at efollett.com, students and education professionals have access to academic pricing on software, which can save you up to 75% off retail prices on many great software titles! Our own website www.marietta.bkstr.com allows customers to order books online so that they can stay out of the back-to-school rush lines with preordering and home delivery. You can also view and order the coolest and latest MC clothing right from our website!
Textbooks are the heart of what we do at the Marietta College Bookstore. We strive to provide each student with every class text need. We stock a fantastic amount of used books, and at 25% less than the cost of a new textbook. This can add up to real savings, so we always encourage students to shop early to access the large supply of used books. Also, at the end of every semester the bookstore conducts Buyback, where we pay you for your books!
We are also much more than just the book store for Marietta College. We are the graduation resource center for seniors. All your graduation regalia are found here. We also love our non-student customers as Graduation, Homecoming, Sibs Weekend, Family Weekend and Faculty-Staff Appreciation days allow us to see our friends who may be alumni, administration, faculty or parents and siblings of students.
The Marietta College Bookstore also strives to be a local community bookstore providing great service and products to the general Marietta community. We stock many general reading books for the casual (or avid) reader and we also special order any book in print. Our art supplies are wide and varied as are our office supplies and we enjoy the interest and business of the community customer.
If you’re interested in the bookstore business or just need some spending cash, stop in and fill out an application. We are always in the need of smart, creative and friendly students! Also, the bookstore offers paid internships for business students who wish to understand the retail industry. And if you’re truly interested in your Marietta College Bookstore and wish to express opinions or suggestions consider joining our Bookstore Advisory Board. It is a committee created of students, administrators, and faculty members designed to give direct input into the bookstore’s operations. The committee will meet once each semester and committee members receive a free lunch for their time and participation. Applications are being taken now for the '02/'03 committee; don’t miss your chance to make your voice heard!
