Nathan Bradley
Hello! My name is Nathan Bradley, and I am part of the Theatre family at Marietta College. Although I had little previous theatre experience, this department welcomed me just like I had always been part of the family.

From the first weeks, I was actively involved, given responsibilities, yet guided along the way by my professors. My first official assignment was as props crew for the fall mainstage show. I've since been involved in over nine other productions in areas such as lighting, sound, set construction, fight captain, and even acting (Benvolio in Romeo & Juliet this fall), although my main area of focus is technical theatre.

My experiences at Marietta and the connections I have made here have allowed me to participate in the 2010 United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) Conference in Kansas City, Missouri. I have also had the pleasure of working with the professionals at Circa '21 Dinner Theatre in Rock Island, Illinois.

I had a mentor in high school that used to work in television. She told me that in order to make it in the business I needed a solid hands-on experience and a way to network with the professionals. When I began looking at colleges, I knew I wanted a school that would allow me to have plenty of hands-on experience, ways to make connections inside the business, and a solid academic background. Marietta College has allowed me to have all of these things in addition to the friendships I made from day one here in the theatre.

If you would like to contact me, I'd be happy to help you get to know more about Marietta and theatre. E-mail me at
