Corporate Underwriting Package

Your support will enable the station to continue to offer quality fine arts programming as well as inform listeners of your company’s services and products.

In recognition of a grant of $500, WMRT will offer each underwriter the following schedule of announcements for a 13 week period:

On the weekend:
4 announcements per day, at logical breaks during and between programs. They will indicate the name of the underwriter, the phone number or similar contact information, and a one sentence non-comparative description of the underwriter’s service or product, and a line associating them with a particular program.

An Example:
“A portion of the cost of the broadcast of the WMRT weekend schedule has been paid by Acme Savings and Loan, 226 C Avenue, Marietta, Ohio. Acme offers a variety of investment services and no charge checking, and helps bring the Los Angeles Philharmonic Broadcast to Marietta-Parkersburg.”

During the weekday:
2 announcements per day during the weekday broadcasts of classical music (midnight- 12p.m. & 6 p.m. to midnight) promoting the weekend schedule. These announcements will be distributed at random and will be similar to the above, but less detailed.

Added Features: WMRT is offered to Marietta cable subscribers on TV channel 15.

Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital - sponsoring Community Health Forum featuring host Susan Galvin, which airs on Monday nights at 5:30 p.m. and Tuesdays at Noon.
Morrison's Inc. - sponsoring A Nite on the Town
Glenwood and The Pines at Glenwood - sponsoring Jazz at Lincoln Center
Smitty's Pizza - sponsoring Marietta College sports coverage, which includes MC football, basketball and baseball.
