Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition opens Feb. 27 with reception

Marietta College’s Art Department is proud to present the Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition, which features the work of Art and Graphic Design students.

The show, which opens Feb. 27, will be held in the Third Floor Gallery of the Hermann Fine Arts Center. The exhibition will run through March 20. An opening reception will be held from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 27.

Some Marietta College students have exhibited throughout the region and United States, winning regional and national scholarships and prizes. The exhibition involves a variety of media including painting, drawing, ceramics, digital images, photography and mixed media.

The show allows the campus and community to view what the students have been working on over the last year. This show is always a popular exhibition because of the diversity of work and student support.

The exhibition and opening is free and open to the public, with regular gallery hours from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Friday and 1-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Hermann Fine Arts is handicapped accessible.
