Money magazine has once again recognized Marietta College as one of The Best Colleges for Your Money, according to the publication’s inaugural list that was recently released.

The magazine states the rankings "are the first to combine the most accurate pricing estimates available with students’ likely earnings after graduation and a unique analysis of how much 'value' a college adds when compared to other schools that take in similar students."

Marietta is ranked 435th — 63 places higher than 2015 — out of the 705 schools that received a ranking. The list examined more than 2,000 four-year colleges and universities nationwide.

Money magazine ranked the schools based on 24 factors within three equally weighted categories: quality of education, affordability and career outcomes. Factors included graduation rate, instructor quality, net price of a degree, student loan default risk, and early career earnings, among others.

In recent days, Marietta has been included on the rankings for The Princeton Review and Forbes.
