McDonough Center co-hosting six-week educational program in 2006
The McDonough Center for Leadership and Business, along with the Marietta Branch of The American Association of University Women, is hosting a six-week long educational program titled, "The Great Decisions Discussion Series."
"Great Decisions," an educational program that will enrich the international understanding of people in the Marietta community, will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sundays from Jan. 29 to March 5 in the McDonough Center on the campus of Marietta College.
The series, which was developed by the Foreign Policy Association in Washington, D.C., offers the possibility for members of the community to learn more about current world issues and concerns through reading written materials, listening to formal presentations, and discussing the material with the aid of facilitators.
Some of the topics for the series include, "United Nations Reform," "Energy Resources" and "Global Health Pandemics & Security."
Anyone interested in attending "The Great Decisions Discussion Series" should mail a $15 registration fee (make checks payable to Marietta College) by Nov. 15 to:
