Theatre - acting

Students are offered a 3-tiered track of acting techniques that cover a wide range of topics. Acting 1 lays the foundation of a Stanislavski based acting technique with a focus on developing a personal methodology for approaching a role. Acting 2 classes explore physical and vocal techniques of creating a character through “topics” courses like Stage Combat, “Improv” Comedy, and Voice & Movement. In the third tier students receive advanced training in specialized acting techniques. Examples of Advanced Acting courses include Meisner Workshop, Devised Theatre, Shakespeare/Verse, and Musical Theatre.
