While creativity is the act of turning new and imaginative ideas into reality, students will learn how to identify and make creative solutions into innovative ones. Applying the design-thinking methodology, students will be engaged in a variety of exercises and activities that require them to look at their environment and culture with a critical eye and identify problems and opportunities for improvement. Group projects will require students to frequently engage brainstorming techniques and manage peer feedback in a constructive and productive manner. Additionally, students will learn how to overcome barriers to creativity and manage challenges with an empowered approach.
