Marietta College students who have completed their degree requirements during the fall semester can participate in the annual December Graduation Celebration at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, December 6th, in the Alma McDonough Auditorium.
While the majority of graduates finish their education in the spring, Marietta College strives to recognize those who finish their requirements in December of the academic year. The ceremony is a less formal recognition of those students who will receive their diplomas in May, but no less important. Many students choose to walk in the official commencement in May, but this December ceremony gives students the recognition they deserve.
Students who graduate in December are counted as members of the class that graduates in the following spring semester.
