Two students — Jacob Chadwick and Michaila Riley — will be making their Environmental Science Experiential Learning presentations at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, October 11th, in Rickey 102.
Chadwick will present Pipeline ASBUILT Surveying. He will talk about the processes and routine that a survey crew will follow on a pipeline ASBUILT. This will include the instruments used in the field, the different regulations of the pipeline, and how surveying works in this kind of environment compared to others.
Riley will present on an Environmental, Health, and Safety internship. The presentation will cover an overview of the oil and gas exploration and production process with an emphasis on the environmental and safety standards. Environmental and safety standards include Army Corps regulations and EPA standards.
