Nancy Manter was born and raised in the State of Maine and has been living and working for several years between New York City and Seal Cove, Maine. She is a painter and a photographer whose work is based on the elements of weather, the environment and landscape. Manter will hold a three-day workshop for Marietta College students and complete site-specific work based on local weather patterns for her Gallery 310 exhibition. The Gallery 310 (Hermann Fine arts Building) exhibit will open following her presentation and run through April 3. Pieces from her workshop with students will also be on display during the Annual Student Exhibition that opens on Feb. 20.
